So i’m optimistic for aaron glenn I think he’s an excellent uh young ascending defensive mind and detroit is lucky to have him along with the rest of these guys I don’t know a ton about ben johnson to be honestbut we’re gonna learn a lot more about him this year so there we go with the staff and now let’s get into the meet and bones and talk about this roster that’s very fascinating now what’s not particularly fascinating is jared goff and the quarterback room now I will say even even though he’s not terribly exciting I do think jared goff is pretty freaking underrated at this point because he’s being lumped in with this sort of you know treading water backup type of guy someone that you’ll see ranked as like a bottom five starter in the league and he’s not that bad like the rams were right to move on from him he’s a quarterback that you win with not because of and they needed more they wanted matthew stafford and they were right to go upgrade from jared goff to stafford and the lions are hoping within a year or two that their team will be ready as the rams team was ready to make that upgrade but as we sit here today you know jared goff isn’t some massively different quarterback than he was with the rams where he always kind of floated between being about the 15th to 20th best quarterback in the league right now I see him on the lower end of that maybe he has lost a little confidence and all that stuff.
