I’m skipping mac and will only do nars from now on anyone that knows me well or even just knows me at all knows how much I love nordstrom after my experience having my makeup done at mac at southcenter mall in tukwila I have no plans of ever going back my 40th bday party was that night and I had an appointment at mac to get my eyes cheeks and lips done I got to the counter at 3 20 was informed my schedule artist would be with me shortly at 3 55 she decides to start I showed her an image of what I wanted and explained that time was running a Motorcycle guitar Metallica Harley Davidson shirt sweater little short since we were starting almost 30 minutes late she got the makeup and started working on my brows she almost tripled them in size showed me a pic and I asked her to just follow my natural brow 5 minutes later they were down to double the size I asked her again to just lightly fill them in showed her a pic of my natural brows and she proceeded to keep them at double the size I figured I would fix them when I get home her 4 00 showed up late and she stopped working on me to talk to her she then enlisted another artist for her 4 00 but felt obligated to find all the necessary makeup 15 minutes of this i’m almost an hour behind schedule with nothing on my face besides huge eyebrows she finally went to work and did the exact opposite of the photo she used no iip liner no under eye make up no blush or bronzer and employed no skill whatsoever an hour and 15 minutes after we were supposed to be done and one hour before I was to be picked up for my party she revealed this disaster this was the finished product I told her it didn’t look anything like what I was hoping for and would buy makeup remover only she looked at me said not one word and walked away I told the lady at the counter how upset I was my tears were also a dead giveaway and how I didn’t feel I should be charged for the fake eyelashes haphazardly applied or the makeup remover I would need she shrugged and said you look nice help this go viral worst experience of my life. I loved the children’s place up until they sent me the wrong order no big deal normally except their customer service is terribly rude and blatantly lie they sent the wrong order and told me they would refund my money because to send me the correct order would take 10 days and a refund would only take up to 5 I originally used a gift card I bought and was told to hold onto it because the refund would be put on the original gift card the same day I went to reorder and half of the pieces were out of stock I sent back the wrong order and waited over a week no refund I called again this time I was told they were sending a new card with the refund balance in the mail my new wait time was up to 2 weeks 2 weeks came and went so I decided to do an online complaint instead of calling I recieved an email stating my refund was approved the day of my first call and that I will recieve the card withing 2 4 weeks I couldn’t understand how my wait time went from 5 days to 4 weeks so I called and asked for a supervisor this must have angered them because I was informed my refund would be to me in 4 6 weeks I should have waited the 10 days and would have the correct order thanks children’s place. Fact there’s really no wrong way to stack your bracelets sticking to one metal or motif is one way to do it but mixing stones metals and jewelry styles can look just as shop ’em all here avonjewelry
