Disappointed in vs I currently live in pender county nc which was devastated by hurricane florence we have 700 students in our schools whose homes were destroyed and the children are now displaced I was given the opportunity to take on the teens group for our holiday fundraiser for those affected by hurricane florence I decided to go to some local businesses and see about donations or purchasing things at cost etc first stop was mayfaire in wilmington victoriassecret I went in there because teens love their pink line the clothing the lotions pajamas and slipper socks etc the associates looked at me like I was from mars and told me that victoriassecret doesn t donate to charities and that I could contact their home office however they don t participate in things like this it is their community too and it just so happens that their pink line right now is full of yellow black which is topsail colors I was really shocked by this as other businesses I went to gap old navy justice game stop bath body etc did not react like this at all even if their businesses don t necessarily participate in these kind of things I m a Chicken i’m into fitness fit’ness taco in my mouth shirt sweater little miffed with victoriassecret I don t think I will be going back there personally I just didn t appreciate the way that they treated me or acted like it was below them to help their community it may not be the feelings of the entire company but I for one really felt like they didn t care.
